Online Programs

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette offers five online undergraduate degree programs, seven online graduate degree programs, and four online graduate certificates.

Flat-Rate Tuition

All students enrolled in 100-percent online courses pay a flat-rate, per-credit-hour tuition. Online undergraduate students pay $380 per credit hour; online graduate students pay $480 per credit hour.

Out-of-state students pay the same rate as in-state students. Additional course fees and lab fees are not included.

Package-Price Programs

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Online

UL Lafayette's accelerated MBA online program is designed for working professionals to gain fundamental business knowledge in finance, analytics, economics and marketing, as well as leadership skills to advance in management positions.

Students pay a package price that includes total tuition and course materials.

For more information, please see visit our MBA Online tuition page.

RN to BSN Online

The 100% online RN to BSN program allows registered nurses to earn their bachelor of science in nursing as they gain leadership skills to influence quality of care and patient safety.

UL Lafayette offers an affordable online education through a package price with pay-as-you-go options. Financial aid may be available for students who qualify.

RN to BSN Corequisite Course Tuition

Tuition for non-nursing courses is dependent on the number of general courses taken and residency requirements. Nursing courses do not count toward the credit hours labeled in the table on the bursar's page. The cost of the general courses is calculated based on the number of general course credit hours taken.

For more information about payment plan options, financial aid, and credit adjustments, please visit the RN to BSN Tuition Policy page.

Online & Hybrid Courses

Any UL Lafayette student can enroll in an online or hybrid class if it’s in their degree plan. These courses can provide flexibility for busy students and can help build valuable time management and communication skills.

Distance Learning Fees

In the Fall 2010 semester, the University Council authorized the creation of the E-Learning Support Fund to stimulate the growth of hybrid and online learning course offerings. Funds are used for the acquisition of electronic library collections in disciplines offering hybrid and online courses, projects that extend electronic student support services for all learners, significant course design improvements, IT/learning management system (Moodle) projects that benefit all users, and other e-learning and program development activities.

The support fees are:
• Undergraduate hybrid (HY) and online (OL) course sections, a minimum of $30 per credit hour.
• Graduate hybrid (HY) and online (OL) courses, a minimum of $50 per credit hour.

This fee is included in online student’s flat-rate tuition but will appear as a separate line item in their statement of account.

These courses are identified as “Hybrid section” or “Online section” within the schedule of courses. Students registered for Hybrid or Online courses will incur Distance Learning fees. Students can find information by selecting the course Title and then selecting Additional Fees.
