When your TOPS AWARD AMOUNT is applied to tuition and fees, (scheduled for Late-March, 2008) please be reminded that if there are no other payment resources applied or anticipated for this particular semester, (i.e., Pell Grant, Stafford Loan, Scholarship, etc.) a balance due will exist relative to your tuition and fees. This amount can be calculated by subtracting your TOPS AWARD AMOUNT from the tuition and fees balance due listed on your statement of account. This self-calculated amount is due by January 9, 2008. NOTE: Tops deferments are scheduled to be posted to student's accounts by Friday, December 7, 2007. A TOPS DEFERMENT MUST BE POSTED TO YOUR STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS SELF-CALCULATED AMOUNT. Please check your ULink Statement of Account. This amount may change based on any hours added or dropped through the Schedule Adjustment Period. You must be enrolled fulltime (at least 12 hours) to be eligible for TOPS. |

| A TOPS DEFERMENT payment type notation, if applied to your account, RESERVES your Spring 2008 class schedule. Your classes will not be dropped on the January 9, 2008 tuition and fees payment deadline date. Please view your ULink Statement of Account for verification of TOPS Deferment. If you decide not to attend UL Lafayette for the Spring 2008 semester, you must officially drop your scheduled classes by January 22, 2008. | |||||||||||||||||||
